Almost 20 years of experience in the automotive market field, in both distribution, production and industrial applications and services, enables EAD to offer a wide range of automotive related services to its partners and customers.EAD’s headquarters is located in Belgium, amidst the area generally regarded as the centre of Europe.
Our location in Belgium, near the port of Antwerp at a central geographical position in Europe, provides good logistics to most of the other European countries.
EAD’s scope is in the product development, manufacturing, machining, distribution and marketing of lightweight alloy wheels.
- Design and development of cast and forged wheels from 13 up to 24 inch sizes in both aluminum or magnesium alloy.
- Monobloc and modular 3-piece wheel manufacturing, CNC machining and assembling.
- Application technology for order processing and CNC machining.
What we do...
With a very strong R&D orientation EAD has a continuous development program focused on new efficient forging technologies for aluminum, aluminum lithium and magnesium alloys in order to achieve a further weight reduction of the product, with improved static and fatigue strength of the wheels. Lightweight forged alluminum alloy wheels increase driving dynamics through an approximate 30 percent weight reduction of the wheel. The use of magnesium instead of aluminum alloy reduces wheel weight by an additional 25 percent. Furthermore, a forged alloy wheel is about 40 percent stronger than its cast alloy counterpart.At EAD we operate a fully equipped CNC machining facility as well as a modular wheel assembly shop, where modular wheels are assembled from separately stocked assembly parts and machined to the customer’s requirement. From our monobloc or modular wheel concepts we manufacture and assemble dedicated wheel products for tuning companies or other private label customers to their exact requirement.
As part of the Lightest Group of companies, we are also actively involved in the R&D for applications of new Magnesium alloys with enhanced anticorrosion and mechanical properties for the production of ultra light-weight wheels and the development of an effective surface treatment for magnesium passenger car and motorcycle wheels.
